In the Brazilian scenario, infrastructure engineering is an outstanding field due to continuous and increasing demands in all aspects of civil construction. These demands require trained professionals who understand and seek high levels of excellence in the services provided to society.

The program provides a systemic view of engineering with a scaled and diversified curriculum to prepare students for a career in planning, design, construction and maintenance of large civil works, including those related to paving, viaducts, bridges, tunnels, port, airport, rail, subway and road terminals. It also enables work in interdisciplinary engineering fields.

Infrastructure engineering graduates can wok in public and private companies, such as: high concessionaires, transportation sector companies, federal, state and municipal departments of transportation infrastructure, universities and technological institutes.
