Objective: The Graduate Program in Oceanography (PPGOCEANO) aims to generate and disseminate knowledge on oceanographic processes—biological, physical, chemical, and geological—of coastal and marine environments (blue and brown water oceanography), as well as on the management of these environments, with particular focus on the state of Santa Catarina and the Southern region of Brazil.
Type: Academic master’s degree.
Area of Concentration: Oceanography.
Lines of Research:
– Sea-Land-Air Dynamics and Interactions, and Human Actions (DIMAR);
– Chemical, Biological and Socio-Environmental Aspects of Marine Ecosystems (ECOMAR).
