Archival Science

This four-year degree program constitutes, together with the Library Science program and the Master’s in Information Science, the field of study of Information Science, currently housed in the School of Education (CED).
Its creation meets a social demand of the state of Santa Catarina, as shown in several archival events taking place in the state in the last ten years, and consolidates UFSC’s position in the field of Archival Science, reached through the continuous offer of a Specialization Program in Archival Management.
