The animal scientist graduated from UFSC is prepared for a career in planning and technical management of animal production systems – with emphasis on processes aimed at obtaining quality products, with economic value added and market value, while respecting animal welfare and the environment.
Graduates should be agents of development, entrepreneurs, generators and diffusers of technologies concerning the raising, improvement, management, nutrition, behavior, welfare and health prophylaxis of different species of livestock.
